A lot of belief. Do you think Neo really believes it? What? What? Do you think Neo believes it? Yeah. Why wouldn't he do it if he didn't? Why does he believe it? What is it? Where does this come from? Because he believes it. Yeah, but where does it come from? I mean, you know what I mean? Like, why all of a sudden he believes in... You mean, what's his reasoning?

8:56Like, well, how did he get there? Because I think that, you know, if he takes the Oracle's words, and it's like, it's his life or Morpheus' life, so he has a choice. So if it is his life, that means Morpheus can be saved. So he kind of like, you know, deals with absolutes, and he's like, well, I'm going to go sacrifice himself, which means Morpheus will live, because the Oracle prophesies it. So that's what I believe in it. No, I think he's doing a third way here. What? Really? Well, no, no, no, no. He's doing... I don't think he's really listening, per se, to the Oracle in a strict sense. I just think he's bouncing it off that and saying, you know what? Since I'm not the one, I'm just going to go try and save Morpheus. I know, but he's very convinced.

9:36I believe I can save him. That's not like, uh, let me go try. But I don't think, I don't think, yeah, I think it's, I think I would interpret it as I believe against the odds. Yeah. Because like, so far, because so far he was very sort of like skeptic of things. There was never any sign of belief or determination from Neo. But I don't think this is... It was much more curiosity. So how come it just kind of like kicks in right now? That's what I'm wondering. I don't think this is like an epistemological... Well, maybe he just wants to do something right. Maybe he wants to just help out. Exactly. I know, but that's... He thinks there's an opportunity now. I know, but instead of just sitting... 11:42matrix uh insertion dj battle device and uh you can see a lot of a lot of you know instruments there like it's it's pretty elaborate to be honest every one of these chairs has to have one of those and as tim pointed out if you look at the shot with Neo there's a midi sequencer in the background yeah yeah just playing some notes some random notes like random arpeggiator just going that's great because it sounds cool because it sounds cool look at those devices look at them well i like this is a great example of um set design where there's a routine when you set program someone in to go to the matrix you know it's like gotta load it up and all this stuff and

12:27now and it's cool because they all know it and it's like yeah they look like they're they've been living there they know what to do yeah it's funny it's strange that Neo knows it's pretty new but he's trying you know yeah he's giving it a shot um looking at what Trinity is doing he's like you're not going he's like what are you doing and she goes i'm coming with you and he's like no you're not no but it to be honest i think the script has a better one well we mentioned it last week remember i'm just re reiterate it's just the Trinity chooses to go first yeah and um she's the initiator initiator yeah and that that makes sense in terms of motivations i think like

13:11you mentioned yeah because in the end uh Neo gets another chance of you know uh fighting or fleeing yeah exactly fight or flight and uh he does it again so even in this version i think i always like the speech from Trinity because you know this is a moment where she steps out of that sort of um purely helper role yeah that she's sort of you know been in the whole movie and here she goes no no no i'm not listening to you that's the whole point you know here she's not listening to anyone she's just doing what she believes in yeah that's good that's great and i like this part of movies one of the good you know like all the side characters who are not important die or you know something else and then

13:54you have the main heroes getting ready to kick ass characters die really no no but no but i'm just saying it's that's like it's just fuel pure concentration of just like kicking ass right now and if it's done right you know it's a very good payoff sometimes it's terrible you know like watch like a resident evil movie or underworld and that comes in and you're just like oh this is just like not not well deserved at all this kick this ass kicking is just like oh yeah that is a great point though because this is a really good setup and there's nothing left to do except go yeah yeah and save more go fight basically yeah go fight there's no this is a clean setup to get us into the action which obviously has been a hallmark and it's great and i think you know they did whatever in the

14:39original script was you know that she is the initiator but i think they used up a bit of that because i think it's great that she's not oh no Neo don't go you'll get hurt you know that sort of like classic uh secondary lady character it's just like you know what you know i'm going as well and i'm actually like even taking more initiative to you you know like just shut up and watch you know kind of thing so it's pretty great it gets you hyped up you can see you know like tank in the back just going yeah exciting times very exciting time so yeah um and that's our minute i'm sorry this this whole thing isn't uh isn't exactly is there anything else we can comment on yeah yeah yeah
